PA-IPL Conference October 5, 2013
Individuals and congregational teams, clergy and lay people are all invited to join Pennsylvania Interfaith Power & Light’s 2013 Annual Meeting and Conference, One Creation, Many Faiths: A Call to Action on Climate Change, to be held Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Colonial Park United Church of Christ in Harrisburg. The Keynote Panel will address the question of how different faith traditions respond to climate change. The panel will include
-Peter Adriance, National Spritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the U.S., Washington, DC
-Rabbi Mordechai Liebling, Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, Philadelphia
-Sister Pat Lupo, Mt. St. Benedict, Erie
-Rev. Dr. Gil Waldkoenig, Lutheran Theological Seminary, Gettysburg
The Green Fair will feature non-profits, businesses, and faith groups offering creative ideas and diverse ways of caring for Creation. After lunch you can participate in a workshop of your choice highlighting practical actions congregations can take and work to be done in our communities.
