Climate Change – a moral issue
ICE offers presentations to congregations about the moral and ethical considerations of climate change, explaining why climate change is a matter of concern to people of faith, and what we can do as individuals and congregations. We believe that together we can support one another and make our religious voices heard in the wider world.
We will offer assistance in how to form eco-teams in your congregation, how to calculate and reduce carbon use, and ways to become involved in energy efficiency advocacy.
Building an alliance
In 2010, Pennsylvania joined the national Interfaith Power and Light, founded by Rev. Canon Sally Bingham. Our regional ICE group works in coordination with IPL, and joins other communities of faith nationwide responding to climate change as a moral issue.
